By operating at its lower speed, the air spends more time in contact with the outdoor coil, the cooling engine of your air conditioning unit. This helps reduce humidity levels inside your home to improve your comfort. The Power Saver™ constant torque motor is 33% more efficient than a standard motor and adjusts the air speed based on demand, allowing the furnace to use less energy in both heating and cooling modes.

Variable speed airflow for consistent comfort The EL296V can adjust its airflow speed, allowing it to gently distribute even heat throughout the home. The variable speed airflow also prevents air explosions when the system starts up. A smarter system.When installed with a compatible Lennox heat pump, this furnace creates a heating system that can automatically switch between gas and electric, depending on what’s most cost-effective for current weather conditions. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a 5-year limited warranty on other covered components.
